Venue: The Comedy Store

Regarded as the king of the comedy clubs, The Comedy Store has consistently provided audiences with the best comic talent from the UK and the rest of the world. The club first opened above a strip club in Soho back in 1979, where conditions were so cramped comics had to change in a broom cupboard, but thankfully the club moved to a far more spacious venue near Piccadilly Circus in 1982. The Comedy Store is famous for its improvisational group, The Comedy Store Players, and for launching the careers of comedians such as Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmondson, Ben Elton and Alexei Sayle. Happy Hour every night from 6.30 - 7.30pm
